Industrial Arts is an educational program that features the fabrication of objects in wood or metal using a variety of hand, power or machine tools and design work. It’s a pathway to variety of Engineering courses that students can choose from such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Air craft Engineering and etc.

The subjects offered in the department at Kamil Muslim College are Basic technology in Year 9 and 10, Technical Drawing and Applied Technology in Year 11, 12 & 13. The main objective of these subjects is to equip the students with relevant skills and knowledge of Engineering related topics. The skills learnt through these subjects become prerequisites to future choices of Engineering courses.

 The activities and projects have been successfully completed by students for moderation and assessment. Students have shown some very creative ideas by using renewable energy designs to complete projects.

Renewable energy is now becoming very important topic for future engineers in producing green energy projects to reduce carbon emission and having a sustainable future.

Finally, the department would like to thank the students, school administration and management for their continuous support to make 2023 a successful year.
