Home Economics is the field of research and education into valuable skills that are needed to be a self- sufficient adult. It prepares students with the life skills needed to live more functional lives. Home Economics provides students with skills, knowledge, understanding and attitudes necessary for managing their lives and prepare them for their career paths. Home economic classes train students to be professionally and academically competent in mastering skills for life such as financial management, cooking, sewing and home management skills.

Home Economics Department comprises of a team of dedicated teachers, who aim to help students master life skills and achieve academic excellence.

Department teachers work  in collaboration with students to achieve the department objectives. The department teachers and students are commended for their hard work and excellent results attained in external examination in 2023 – 100% in both FY12CE and FY13CE.

Home Economics department is well resourced in terms of resources and teaching aids to provide best opportunities to the students. The department has continuous guidance and support from the administrators who ensure that all department needs are met.
