It is with great pleasure that I address you in this edition, reflecting on the remarkable achievements, progress, and academic excellence that Kamil Muslim College has experienced in the academic year 2025. As the Vice Principal of this esteemed institution, it is both a privilege and a responsibility to oversee the academic, co-curricular, and administrative initiatives that shape the educational landscape of our students.

At Kamil Muslim College, we believe that education is not merely the transfer of knowledge, but the holistic development of young minds equipped to thrive in an ever-changing world. With this guiding principle, we continue to push the boundaries of academic excellence, social responsibility, and spiritual growth. This year has been particularly special, with several milestones that we are proud to share with our community.
Academic Excellence: Our Pillar of Strength
Our academic curriculum, designed to meet the needs of modern-day education while staying rooted in Islamic values, has consistently proven to be effective in shaping well-rounded scholars. In 2025, Kamil Muslim College maintained its position among the top educational institutions in the district, with students excelling in a variety of subjects across the sciences, humanities, and Islamic studies.
Achievements in Examinations
Fiji Year 13 examination and Fiji Year 12 examination brought 79 and 91. The performance of our students in the national examinations for both Fiji Year 13 examination and Fiji Year 12 examination last year was exceptional. A remarkable 79% of our Fiji Year 12 examination students and 91 % for Fiji Year 13 examination.
This success is a testament to the dedication of our faculty, the discipline of our students, and the collaborative spirit between the administration and parents. Additionally, our students’ performance in Islamic Studies, Urdu, and Arabic remains unparalleled, further emphasizing our mission to provide a comprehensive education that nurtures both the intellect and the soul.
Innovative Teaching Methods
In keeping with the needs of 21st-century learners, Kamil Muslim College has embraced innovative pedagogies, incorporating digital learning tools, interactive classrooms, and hands-on project-based learning. Our faculty has undergone extensive professional development, attending seminars and workshops to ensure that they remain abreast of the latest developments in educational methodologies.
The introduction of blended learning in our classrooms has allowed students to access a rich mix of in-person instruction and online resources, giving them the flexibility to explore subjects beyond the classroom setting. We also continue to prioritize individualized learning experiences, ensuring that every student’s unique strengths and needs are addressed.
Emphasis on Islamic Values and Spiritual Development
A distinctive feature of Kamil Muslim College is our unwavering focus on imparting Islamic values alongside academic knowledge. Every student at our college is encouraged to engage in regular Quranic studies, Islamic history, and character-building programs designed to shape them not only as scholars but also as responsible and compassionate individuals.
In 2025, we launched several initiatives to promote spiritual development among our students:
- Quranic Literacy Program: Aimed at enhancing the understanding of the Quran, this program was highly successful, with over 90% of our students demonstrating significant improvement in their Tajweed and Tafsir skills.
- Professional Development Workshops: These workshops, which take place every Term, focus on instilling leadership qualities, moral ethics, and community responsibility. The sessions have had a profound impact on our students’ personal growth.
- Interfaith Dialogues and Community Outreach: As part of our commitment to global citizenship and interfaith understanding, Kamil Muslim College also held multiple interfaith dialogues and charity events, where students actively participated in discussions and outreach activities to help those in need.
Cultural and Co-Curricular Activities: Beyond the Classroom
Education at Kamil Muslim College goes beyond the textbooks. This year, our students showcased their talent in various extracurricular activities, further proving that intellectual growth is complemented by the arts, sports, and leadership initiatives.
- Viti Fair Competition : Our newly -anticipated talent show facilitated the participation of students in oratory and model exhibitions. Students demonstrated their creativity and cultural awareness through presentations that were a true reflection of the college’s diverse and inclusive environment.
- Sports Excellence: Our sports teams participated in athletics, soccer, rugby and netball.
- Cultural Participation- Our students got an opportunity to be recognized and awarded by Fiji Muslim League for Qaida and Quran reading together with memorizing of various verses of Quran. They also got opportunities to participate in Urdu debate and oratory bringing glory to the college.
In closing, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the students, parents, and the entire community of Kamil Muslim College for their unwavering support in helping us achieve these milestones. As we move forward, we remain committed to fostering an environment that encourages academic curiosity, personal growth, and spiritual integrity.

As we come to the close of another academic year at Kamil Muslim College, it is with a heart full of gratitude and pride that I reflect on all that we have achieved together. This year has been a journey of growth, resilience, and progress — not only in the academic arena but in character, leadership, and school spirit.
Our students have continued to rise to the occasion, showing commitment in their studies, maturity in their behavior, and passion in all areas of school life. We’ve seen impressive academic results, growing participation in sports, and increased engagement in debates, arts, and community activities. These achievements are not just milestones; they are a reflection of the values we hold dear — excellence, discipline, respect, and unity.
Students who have excelled in their subject areas, whether through consistent academic performance, outstanding creativity, sports achievements, or leadership in co-curricular activities, their hard work has not gone unnoticed. They are a shining example of what is possible when talent is combined with effort and perseverance. Students continue to aim for a higher as the world is wide open to those who are willing to put in the work and stay grounded in their values.

Inaddition, a heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff for their unwavering commitment, hard work, and teamwork. KMC staffs are the foundation of the KMC family. Their passion for teaching, mentoring, and nurturing our students has made all the difference. Together, they have created an environment where excellence, care, and creativity. Our collective spirit of unity and collaboration continues to make KMC a place we can all be proud of.
Challenges did not spare our way — from absenteeism to discipline issues, and the ever-present need to address the social risks that our young people face. But rather than allowing its gravity pull us down, we faced it boldly. We responded with guidance, structure, and most importantly, due care. The improvements we’ve seen in student behavior, punctuality, and participation are proof that when a school stands united, progress is always possible.
As we look to the future, let us build on this momentum. Let’s continue encouraging our students to dream big, work hard, and walk the path of integrity.
