Bismilla-hir Rahmaa-nir Raheem Al- hamdu lillalahi rabbil alameen. Ar-Rahmaanir Raheem Maliki yawmid -deen Iyya-ka na’budu wa iyya- ka nasta’in Ihdinas- siratal- mustaqeem. Siratal -lazina an’amta ‘alaihim Ghairil- maghdubi ‘alaihim waladdaleem

Translation

In the name of allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful. Praise be to allah, lord of the worlds: The most beneficent, the most merciful: Owner of the day of judgement. Thee (alone ) we worship; thee alone we ask for help. Show us the straight path: The path of those whom you have favoured; not (the path) of those who earn your anger nor of those who go astray.

I seek the protection of Allah (ST) from Shaitaan- the cursed one.

Glory be to Allah (ST), the Lord of the Universe, and the blessings and peace be upon the best of all the Prophets and the messengers. Our leader, Muhammad (SAW), his family and companions.
O Allah (ST), forgive our sins and the sins of our parents and teachers, the believers and the Muslims, amongst the dead and those who are alive with your blessings, the Most Blessed one.
Glory be to you, O Lord, the lord of power and honour. Peace be upon all the prophets and glory be to Allah (ST), the Lord of the universe.

Kamil Muslim College, formerly known as Ba Muslim High School, was established in 1970. Initially classes were conducted in temporary sheds. In 1972, the school committee after a feasibility study decided to have permanent buildings. The turning point in the development of the College came in early 80’s when his Excellency, Sheikh Saleh Kamil of the royal kingdom of Saudi Arabia decided to fund the development of the College. His Excellency, donated funds to build an administration block, an auditorium (Kamil Auditorium) and a Girls Hostel (Fatima Girls Hostel). Kamil College continued to prosper in terms of academic achievements and was rated amongst the top five schools in the country. In, sports it made its mark in soccer as it still holds the title of Fiji Football, Secondary schools IDC champions, 3 in a row. The strength of this institution is in its community. All the stakeholders have been truly committed to its philosophies and contributed immensely to the success it has achieved.
