It is my pleasure to present the 2025 report for the Department of Computing & Office Technology at Kamil Muslim College. This year, we witnessed remarkable progress in academic performance, facility upgrades, and student engagement. The dedication of our teachers and enthusiasm of our students have been central to our success.

 

Department Overview

The Department of Computing & Office Technology offers Computer Studies and Office Technology from Year 9 to Year 13. Our facilities include two well-equipped computer labs with internet access, a server-based library system, and the use of Moodle for blended learning. The department is committed to providing quality education that aligns with technological advancements.

 Key Achievements in 2025

  • Excellent external examination results for Years 12 & 13.
  • Integration of Moodle for e-learning and assignment tracking.
  • Regular maintenance of computer labs and server systems.
  • Increased student interest and enrollment in computing subjects.
  • Professional development for teachers on emerging digital tools.

 

Challenges and Future Plans

The rapid evolution of technology presents both challenges and opportunities. Our department aims to upgrade computing equipment, expand Wi-Fi connectivity, and introduce new digital tools to support 21st-century learning. We also plan to enhance student participation in ICT-related events and continue improving academic

performance across all levels.

 The Department of Computing & Office Technology remains committed to excellence and innovation. Through teamwork, continuous improvement, and faith, we strive to empower our students with the digital skills necessary for the future. Together, we move forward with confidence and purpose.
